A tea room for lessons is constructed by assembling a wooden shaft (infill) inside the concrete frame. The alcove and the wall of the exhibition stand with storage are plastered with a small amount of red iron oxide, and if you look closely, it has a light reddish finish. It is selected considering its compatibility with the green of matcha.
The outside of the wooden shaft is finished by cutting and pasting fusuma paper (rubbing paper), and the soft texture and light flow are intended to wrap the entire space.
The Ryuurei table is made by modifying the one provided by the owner. We also made a Kensui table using the size-adjusted left-over materials.
